Campaign for Learning Starting life in 1995 as an RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce, the Campaign for Learning) initiative and became a registered charity in November 1997, the Campaign for Learning is working for a society where learning is at the heart of social inclusion.

European Socail Fund The European Social Fund (ESF) was set up to improve employment opportunities in the European Union and so help raise standards of living. It aims to help people fulfil their potential by giving them better skills and better job prospects.

As one of the EU's Structural Funds, ESF seeks to reduce differences in prosperity across the EU and enhance economic and social cohesion.

Training2all Training 2 All Ltd was originally registered with company’s house as a limited company in January 2008. It was formed with the intention of continuing to provide high quality training to the Public, Private, Voluntary and Community sectors. Profits from this training would be used to provide free training for groups or individuals that were unable to fund such training.

During this period, Training 2 All Ltd worked to develop a sustainable business model that would support it as a Social Enterprise. During this time Training 2 became a founding member of PULSE (People United Locally in Social Enterprise, a Wigan based support group for Social Enterprise).

Skills Funding Agency The Skills Funding Agency is a partner organisation of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, funding and regulating adult further education and skills development in England.

Their aim is to ensure that people and businesses can access the skills training they need to succeed in playing their part in society and in growing England’s economy.

School for Social Entrepreneurs SSE was founded in 1997 by Michael Young. Its mission is to address inequalities and social exclusion by supporting social entrepreneurs from all backgrounds to transform their talent into real social outcomes, in the form of sustainable solutions to poverty and disadvantage in communities. It does this through the use of action-learning based programmes of personal and organisational development.

SSE supports individuals to realise their potential and to establish, scale and sustain, social enterprises and social businesses across the UK, Australia and Canada.

Wigan Training Centre If you are looking for training in Construction and DIY then Wigan Training Centre is the place to start.  The centre provides a safe and relaxed environment to train and achieve your learning goals.

The centre is available to learners from 14-19 (NEET) to engage and develop skills. Adults of all ages and abilities are welcome to use the centre.  The community can also benefit with group or family courses.

Day and Evening classes can be arranged. The centre is ideal for those who want to attend a workshop in their free time and is perfect for those who do not have the space at home.

Wigan and Leigh Housing The Company is responsible for managing all landlord services for Wigan Council's 23,000 homes including rent collection, repairs and maintenance, dealing with empty properties and all tenancy matters.

Apprenticeships The National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) supports, funds and co-ordinates the delivery of Apprenticeships throughout England.

The NAS are responsible for increasing the number of Apprenticeship opportunities and providing a dedicated, responsive service for both employers and learners. This includes simplifying the process of recruiting an apprentice through Apprenticeship vacancies, an online system where employers can advertise their Apprenticeship job vacancies and potential apprentices can apply.

Wigan  and Leigh Carers Centre The role of the Carers Centre is to actively support carers of all ages through the provision of information, training and support.
